Erin Phillips tries to fill every second with stories, whether it’s an audiobook while cleaning, a movie with her hubs, or just snuggling up with a good book.

Her most notable novels are Biblical retellings, Realm Award 2023 Fantasy Finalist A Crown of Chains (Esther) and 2024 Reader’s Choice award A Bond of Briars (Ruth), written for girls who love popular YA fiction and are looking for stories that don’t pretend life is easy, acknowledge that perfection is impossible, and offer encouragement found only in Christ.

She graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with a B.F.A. in Costume Design & Technology, and lives in North Carolina with her husband, Jeremy, and their happy corgis, Parker and Fable.
